Freelance Writer

What is involved with freelance writing? - There are many companies that will pay you to write for them. This writing could include writing ad copy, an article for a blog, or just writing about something you are passionate and/or knowledgeable about. Also, under the umbrella of freelance writing are proofreading, editing and design layout jobs.

What are the qualifications to be a Freelance Writer? - Of course everyone loves professional writers with tons of writing samples to submit, but many (most) companies just want to see interesting, original content formatted correctly.

How much can I make as a Freelance Writer? - Most companies pay per article. Some pay based on the articles length, others pay on its perceived relevancy to their readers. You could be paid per word as well. It is difficult to give a general range.
