Clinical Trials and Studies

What are clinical trials? - Clinical trials are organized studies of the effects of various physical, psychological or emotional treatments on people. The results are used to form opinions of the effectiveness or relevancy of treatments and medications before along them to be sold to the general public.

Where do clinical trials take place? - These trials can take place in hospital settings, treatment facilities or allow participants to receive treatment while at home.

How long do the clinical trials take? - Treatment can span from a day to a number of months.

How much do clinical trial participants make? - Compensation can range from from a couple hundred to thousands of dollars depending on the company and the study.

What are the qualification to participate in clinical trials? - Each trial has a pre-set criteria to screen interested parties against. If you meet that screening, you will then be invited to speak with a representative from the company holding the trial who will then ask further questions to gauge your qualification to do the trial.
